SoI have been away from my blog for a while due to travelling and rubbish Internet signal. I am currently in Penang Malaysia and have found it hard to change my nails so often due to the melting nail polish in the heat. However last night I decided to treat my nails and combine a mix of neon orange models own sparkles and stripes. Very easy to do and only took me 15 minutes!

After having a reality check of where in the world we were today, amongst the smells and the various scenes that we saw a backdrop of a market stall stuck in my head. This is where the inspiration for this set of nails on my friends hands come from. I used the gelish navy Barry M colour alongside a white nail polish where I used a thin brush to complete the horizontal lines. I finished these with a clear top coat. This set took me approximately half an hour but would take me longer if I was to do them on myself.

I have arrived in Malaysia safe and sound feeling rather dirty after an overnight train. So I decided my nails needed a clean up and that pastels were a must. I used various colours including pink, mint, yellow, peach and purple. The yellow and mint were from Barry Ms sand range and the peach was from their pastel range. The purple is Topshop's mentioned in previous blogs and the pink is a scented polish from colour club. All in all these took about 20 minutes to complete.

So today I left Australia and headed for Singapore. Unlike any normal person I am like a big kid and need to be entertained throughout so I decided to use my friends nails and design them instead of mine whilst waiting for our flight. I used models own Fluro orange and then chose to decorate with a white unbranded nail art pen in an Aztec way. This inspiration came from the pair of Aztec shorts that my friend was wearing today. All in all it took me about 15 minutes to complete.

As it was the gloomiest day in Australia to date I felt my nails needed more of a summery feel. Therefore I decided to go for an alternative pastel combination. The white background polish was Rimmel's 60 second white (best for when applying over the top) The purple was Topshop's Parma violet mentioned in a previous post, the pink is a Barry M polish and the mint is an unbranded polish I have had a very long time. I used caviar beads in blue to add to the ring finger to mix it up a bit and applied these with Barry Ms all in one clear polish. All in all I would say this set of nails took me about an hour due to drying time and having to wait inbetween. Enjoy :)

My three favourite things in a set of nails; the colour pink, cupcakes and sparkles. However I have a confession! These set of nails I didn't actually do myself I had them done in a nail shop in Essex a few months ago and I found them when routing through my images to post online. This inspiration came from a link on Pinterest that I found a while ago and a very clever lady at the nail bar copied them for me.

As I am on my travels around the world I have recently been spending a lot of time at the beach. Today whilst soaking up the sun in Perth Australia I had a weird and wonderful idea to bring some sand home with me. I decided to paint my nails with Topshop's Parma Violet polish and then used Barry M's clear all-in-one polish to dip and shake off the excess sand. Although this was a bit messy the end result was amazing and I received lots of comments.
I am not usually a fan of toes, however as the polish matched the nails this time I have decided to share them with you. The same Topshop polish was used, then some stick on gems were applied to the top of the big toes and a top coat of Barry M's clear polish was applied.

Hello my names Jodie, I have decided to start a blog to share my love for nail art.
On Saturday I had a party so I decided a bit of sparkle was a must! As I was wearing black for the night I decided to add a bit of colour so I went for a light OPI pink and a clear polish with shards of glitter on my ring finger. I was inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest.
